This Redgate Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how Redgate Real Estate Advisors, LLC (“Redgate”, “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses and shares your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies when you use and interact with our website, redgate-re.com (the “Site”), visit our offices, attend our events, or when you otherwise communicate or connect with us (online, including through social media, by phone, in-person, or otherwise) (collectively the “Services”).  

This Privacy Policy does not apply to Redgate Investor Portal (redgate-re.junipersquare.com).  

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to Redgate’s collection, use and disclosure of personal information, Use Data, and other information as set forth herein. If you do not consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Services in any way and should immediately exit the Site.

Privacy Policy Updates 

We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy at any time, by posting an amended Privacy Policy on the Site. Your continued use of the Services after any revisions means you consent to and accept the revised Privacy Policy.  

Collection of Information: We obtain personal information and other information about you from a variety of sources. This includes personal information you provide to us, information we gather through automated means, and information we obtain from other sources.  

Information you provide to us. We collect personal information that you provide to us when you use the Services which may include:

Information collected through automated means: By choosing to use the Services, you agree to provide Redgate with certain information that is automatically created, collected, and recorded by your use of the Services (“Use Data”). Redgate uses third parties, including Google and LinkedIn, to collect this information. Redgate and these third parties may use a variety of technologies to collect Use Data, including cookies, web beacons, JavaScript and logging.  

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of your browsing history on that website in addition to other data. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can choose whether or not to accept cookies through your browser controls, often found in your browser’s “Tools” or “Preferences” menu. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience and parts of our Site or the Services may no longer be fully accessible.

Redgate, or service providers acting on our behalf, may use your personal information, other information and Use Data for various purposes in connection with Redgate’s business, including, but not limited to: 

To operate, evaluate and improve our business; 

  • To provide, improve and optimize the performance of the Site and our services;  
  • To provide customer service and support; 
  • To respond to your inquiries and requests and send other communications; 
  • To provide you with information related to our services or that we otherwise believe will be of interest to you;

UNAUTHORIZED USE 

Unauthorized attempts to use the Site in a way that violates our Terms of Use, to utilize the Site for other than its intended purposes, or to defeat or circumvent the Site’s security features are strictly prohibited. We do not intend for the Site to be used by children under the age of 13, nor do we seek to collect information about children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide us any information and promptly exit the Site. 

Sharing of Information 

Service Providers: We engage certain trusted third parties, including HubSpot, to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, website hosting and maintenance, customer relations and support, database storage and management, data analysis, and marketing and social media services. We may share your personal information, other information and Use Data with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services.  

Other Third Parties: We also may share, disclose, or transfer your personal information, other information and Use Data with third parties as follows: (a) to government agencies, advisors and other third parties, where necessary and appropriate, in order to comply with applicable laws, the service of legal process, or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (i) comply with the law requiring such disclosure, (ii) protect Redgate’s rights or property, (iii) prevent a crime or protect national security or (iv) protect the personal safety of the users or the public; or (b) if we believe your actions violate our Terms of Use or other policies; or (c) in connection with a financing or a sale, acquisition, or merger of our business or our business assets. We may also share with others non-personally identifiable information or aggregated or anonymized information that does not directly identify you for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Third Party Sites or Apps 

The Site may contain links to external websites, plug-ins or applications. Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites, plug-ins, or applications to which the Site links. Redgate is not responsible for the practices and policies (including privacy policies) of third parties and, therefore, you should review the privacy practices and policies of such third parties prior to providing your personal information in connection with such websites, plug-ins or applications. 

Subscribing to E-Mail Correspondence
If you provide us with your email address, you authorize us to send you regular emails unless and until you request to unsubscribe from such emails. These emails may include messages related to your inquiries and requests, marketing communications, and information about changes to the Site. We may collect information about your interactions with emails sent by us or on our behalf, including whether you opened the email or clicked on any links. We may use this information to improve our marketing, to understand our audience, and to improve the Services.  Each email we send contains an easy, automated way for you to unsubscribe from further emails from us.  

Do Not Track – Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” preference that transmits a “Do Not Track” header to the websites you visit with information indicating that you do not want your activity to be tracked. We do respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no standard for how online services should respond to such signals.  

Cross-Border Transfers 
The Services are basted in the United States. If you choose to use the Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ 

from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the United States for storage and processing, and by providing your personally identifiable information on the Services you freely and specifically consent to that transfer, storage, and processing.

Security 

Redgate uses reasonable care to protect the privacy and security of personal information and to ensure that our systems are secure and meet industry standards. Unfortunately, no Internet transmission is ever completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss or other breaches will never occur.
