Ralph F. Cox, a former Maritime & Real Estate Director for the Port of Boston, specializes in master planning, permitting, developing, and acquiring industrial properties connected to major port, highway, and rail transportation networks. He has vast experience creating significant value for land owners of large obsolete industrial properties by converting them into residential, retail, or mixed-use developments.
Prior to co-founding Redgate Real Estate Advisors and Redgate Capital Partners, Mr. Cox was a partner at Cargo Ventures LLC managing the development and acquisition of over 3 million square feet of port related industrial properties throughout the U.S. He was also a Senior Vice President for New England Development (NED), one of New England’s largest real estate developers managing a $110M portfolio acquisition of historic seaport properties. Additionally, he was a Senior Vice President for Spaulding & Slye Colliers, New England’s largest real estate advisory services company. As the Maritime Director for the Port of Boston at the Massachusetts Port Authority he oversaw both the marine and real estate divisions.
